Our Standard Monthly Service is a comprehensive preventative maintenance program designed to ensure your vessel is safe, functional, and ready for immediate use. We perform rigorous multi-point inspections covering everything from engine and generator health to critical safety systems, fluid levels, and electrical integrity. By managing the technical complexities of the bilge, helm, and exterior upkeep, Lanier Boat Management provides a seamless ownership experience where performance is guaranteed and preparation is handled.

Monthly Services
A la Carte Services

Comprehensive Monthly Boat Maintenance

Exterior

  • Ensure dock lines are tight, secure, and kept.
  • Ensure power cables are in working order.
  • Ensure all upholstery and canvas is in working order.
  • One washdown per month.

Interior

  • Monthly check of galley systems
  • Monthly check of lightbulbs (inside/outside)
  • Fire Extinguisher inspection
  • Monthly check of HVAC system
  • Monthly check of CO2 monitors

Fluids

  • Check oil levels (add oil if needed)
  • Check water levels (add fresh water if needed)
  • Check holding tank ( empty if requested)

Batteries

  • Check water levels and fill as needed
  • Check and prevent corrosion of battery posts
  • Check battery health monthly

Engine/Generator

  • Check bilge water accumulation (pump out if necessary)
  • Check bilge pumps / float switches
  • Check all sump boxes (clean if necessary)
  • Check Seacocks
  • Check/clean raw water strainers (Engines, generator, A/C)
  • Inspect fuel filters
  • Inspect engine belts
  • Inspect hoses
  • Check Trim Tab reservoir (add fluid if necessary)
  • Check motor trim reservoir (add fluid if necessary)
  • Check fire suppression equipment in bilge
  • Test bilge heater, make sure it is powered up

HELM

  • Start motors and generator (run to temp, check gauges)
  • Run motor blowers
  • Power up all electronics
  • Check all switches
  • Check all other gauges

Exterior wash/wax

  • Compound wax/polish if needed

Interior cleaning

  • This includes interior vacuum, windows, galley, linens if needed.

Provisions

  • Let us know what your needs are prior to the arrival and LBM will make sure your the worry of grocery shopping is taken care of.
